Rent Shure Beta 91A Ibiza for powerful kick-drum attack and low-frequency definition. The Beta 91A is a low-profile condenser boundary microphone designed for kick drums and other bass-heavy instruments; it is not a lavalier microphone.

Boundary microphone design

Placed inside a kick drum or on another suitable boundary, the flat housing stays stable without a conventional stand. Its half-cardioid pickup pattern focuses on the sound above the mounting surface while helping control unwanted spill.

Professional high-SPL performance

The microphone covers 20 Hz–20 kHz and handles very high sound-pressure levels. An integrated preamplifier, balanced XLR output and switchable frequency contour support a clean professional setup. Phantom power is required.
